Job Description
The Village of Alix is seeking a highly motivated individual to
assume the position of Chief Administrative Officer. Alix is a
progressive municipality with a strong sense of community and
family. The area has a strong agricultural base with an active
oil and
gas exploration industry.
The
Village is currently experiencing growth in residential development
and has planned infrastructure expansion.
Reporting
to the Mayor and Council, the CAO is responsible for providing
effective administrative leadership for the Village and will
possess the following:
- A
certificate in Local Government Administration, or in the process
of obtaining a certificate, or a record of success in municipal
financial management will be considered.
- Excellent
budget and financial acumen, with concise regular reporting
to council.
- Proven
interpersonal leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency
in information technology.
- A
