The Town of Athabasca is immediately seeking an individual to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer that can provide financial direction for the municipality.  The ideal candidate should have:

  • A professional designation (CA, CMA, CGA) or working towards professional designation would be an asset.
  • Previous municipal finance experience.
  • The ability to work both independently and manage a small staff.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Great Plains Dynamics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
