For the 8th year, we are pleased to present learning sessions on the topic of organization excellence. These sessions provide an overview of management frameworks and business practices that have been proven to enhance organizational performance. Sessions are complementary and offered at Entrepreneurship Learning Centres throughout Alberta on the 3rd Friday of each month from 12:00 to 1:00pm. Please bring your lunch and join us!

TOPIC: Targeting Customer Complaint Root Causes to Reduce Negative Impact
How many complaints in your organization can be attributed to problems with common root causes? This session delves into ways of assessing the underlying causes of customer complaints in order to reduce negative impact. Topics include: customer complaint monitoring and tracking, complaint analysis and assessment, identifying service failure points, turning complaints into service improvement opportunities, and the service recovery process.

PRESENTER: Dawn Ringrose
Dawn is President and Owner of Dawn Ringrose & Associates. She has an MBA and FCMC designation and has worked as a management consultant for the past 23 years with both large international firms and her own company. In 2005, she was recognized by the Quality Council of Alberta for her work, as Board Member and Chair and dedication to the quality field, with the inaugural Quality and Excellence Builder Award. Dawn also works closely with the National Quality Institute, as a NQI Certified Excellence Professional to deliver programs and conduct quality assessments, the Tourism Industry Association of Canada as a Judge of the National Tourism Excellence Awards, and with the Alberta Provincial Government as a Judge with the Premiers Award for Healthy Workplaces.

• Beginning in July 2001 Royal Roads University, situated in Victoria, British Columbia, is offering an MBA in Executive Management for educational administrators.
• The Royal Roads MBA is flexible and is designed for mid-career professionals currently involved in administration, educational, business or support functions in public or private institutions or organizations.
• The two-year program is delivered through a combination of Internet-based distance learning and three short (three week) intensive residency sessions.
