The Local Government Leadership Program What’s On First Base? Is offered by the Society of Local Government Managers of Alberta (SLGM) and the Local Government Leadership Institute (LGL) “helping civic officials make a leadership difference in local government”. "Make a leadership difference" - Local Government Leadership (LGL) Development

A Local Government Leadership (LGL) Network Program at Royal Roads University with the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators and other municipal associations.

  • Beginning in July 2001 Royal Roads University, situated in Victoria, British Columbia, is offering an MBA in Executive Management for educational administrators.
  • The Royal Roads MBA is flexible and is designed for mid-career professionals currently involved in administration, educational, business or support functions in public or private institutions or organizations.
  • The two-year program is delivered through a combination of Internet-based distance learning and three short (three week) intensive residency sessions.
  • The first two residencies took place July 2001 and August 2002 respectively on the beautiful campus College of the Rockies in Cranbrook, British Columbia. The third residency will take place in on the Royal Roads University campus in Victoria, British Columbia in August 2003.
  • In addition to the core MBA curriculum, the program includes an organizational consulting project and four full-course specialized options in educational administration and management.
